Lauren Child: Charlie and Lola - I'm not sleepy and I will not go to bed

Charlie's little sister Lola likes to stay up late, 'I am not sleepy and I will not go to bed.' she says. Charlie tries everything to get Lola to go to bed - from making tigers pink milk to shooing whales down plug-holes...Will Lola ever be sleepy and want to go to bed?

Lola really wants to live in a tent. 'I would quite like to be an explorer, Charlie,' says Lola. So Charlie and Lola set off on an adventure, but instead of packing explorer essentials like binoculars or string, Lola has brought lots and lots of glitter and pink milk! They head off into the wild, ready to face tigers and bears and go foraging for food. But, when it starts to rain, Lola's not so keen on being stuck outside – so they do indoor-outdoor camping at home and go on an imaginative adventure instead!

When Danny and Mum are stuck in a traffic jam in the bus on their way home, it's time for Danny's magical skills to come into play. He brings out his special driver's hat and gets behind the wheel. This little pig went to market, this little pig stayed at home.

Lauren Child: Charlie and Lola - I'm really ever so not well

Lola has a cold and is feeling really ever so not well. So her big brother, Charlie, thinks of all sorts of ideas to try to cheer Lola up. He brings her pink milk and biscuits, sings her a special song, plays her best smiley jigsaw puzzle and even takes her on a cloud-hopping adventure! Soon Lola's feeling much, much better!
